We offer comprehensive, outpatient treatment for people with eating disorders using a "Body Positive" approach that Elizabeth developed while treating people with eating problems for the past 20 years. Our clients include women and men, adolescents and adults.

Timberline Knolls
Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center is located on 43 beautiful acres just outside Chicago, offering a nurturing environment of recovery for women ages 12 and older struggling to overcome eating disorders, substance abuse, mood disorders, trauma and co-occurring disorders. By serving with uncompromising care, relentless compassion and an unconditional joyful spirit, we help our residents help themselves in their recovery.
Reasons
Reasons Eating Disorder Center provides comprehensive, individualized and integrative treatment for women and men ages 12 and older. For adults we offer inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization programs. For adolescents we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. They are designed to address the complexities of Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, and related eating disorders by providing each patient with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to assist in their process of healing. All of our programs are highly structured and intensive to promote emotional re-regulation, behavioral stability, and to provide a deeper level of understanding and, most importantly, acceptance of self.
Monte Nido
Eating and exercise disorders are progressive and debilitating illnesses requiring medical, nutritional and psychological intervention. Individuals suffering from these disorders often need a structured environment to achieve recovery. However, all too often a person does well in a highly structured, regimented environment only to fall into relapse upon returning to a less structured situation. Monte Nido residential programs are designed to meet the individual needs of clients and their families in a way that gives them an increasingly higher level of responsibility and "teaches" them how to recover and sustain it. The atmosphere at Monte Nido and its affiliate programs is professional and structured, but it is also warm, friendly, and family-like. We use highly dedicated staff members, many of whom are recovered themselves, thus serving as excellent role models. Our philosophy and environment inspires people to commit to overcoming obstacles that are interfering with the quality of their lives.
Center For Discovery
At Center for Discovery, we provide residential treatment for women with eating disorders, teens with eating disorders, teens with mental health disorders, and teens with substance abuse issues. Each of our locations is dedicated solely to one of our specialized treatment programs. By keeping each location specialized to one of our treatment programs, we are able to provide the most effective and efficient treatment for our residents. Our locations provide treatment for a small number of residents at one time to maintain an intimate setting and a low resident to staff ratio. Center for Discovery has developed a proprietary treatment model that has helped us create a legacy of success. Each resident is personally involved in creating their treatment program. At Center for Discovery, we know that treatment is not only about the diagnosed issues, it is about the contributing factors that underlie those conditions. We understand that while the symptoms may be similar, the underlying factors are unique to each of our clients.
