Specialty courses

Basic Nitrox ... This is the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize oxygen enriched air (EAN) as a breathing gas to a depth of 130 ft. The objective of this course is to train recreational divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using Nitrox I (32%) and Nitrox II (36%).

Advanced Nitrox ... This course examines the use of enriched air nitrox 21% and higher for optimal mixes to a depth of 165 ft. The objective of this course is to train nitrox divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing EAN for dives not requiring staged decompression.

Extended Range Diver (Technical Deep Air) ... This course provides training and experience required to be certified to competently utilize air for dives to 200 ft. that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox mixtures during decompression. The objective of this course is to train recreational/tec divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep air diving to a recommended maximum depth of 200 ft. and utilizing nitrox mixtures for staged decompression.

Advanced Wreck Diving ... Through advanced techniques, this course will instill a level of comfort and discipline so that a diver may conduct wreck dives with a greater margin of safety, productivity and enjoyment. This program may include penetration skills and techniques. The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards of wreck diving to 130 ft. (recreational) or depths to 200 ft. (advanced).

Mixed Gas Course ... The mixed gas course provides the training required to be certified to competently and safely utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 300 ft. The objective of this course to train technical divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases.
